IAW Trade Fair and INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR sign new partnership deal for spring 2016

20.10.2015

In spring 2016 the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (7 – 9 March 2016) and the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR (6 – 8 March 2016) will for the first time be taking place in parallel on two consecutive days. In order to generate the maximum synergies, the spring edition of the IAW will therefore run from Monday to Wednesday in 2016.

Following the successful realization in parallel of IAW and Asia-Pacific Sourcing in the spring of 2015, trade show organizers Nordwestdeutsche Messegesellschaft and Koelnmesse are taking their partnership to the next level with this new collaborative venture. Both organizations are confident that by staging these two trade shows from related sectors at the same time and same place, they will not only generate additional visitor traffic to exhibitors’ stands, but will also offer real added value for trade visitors. At the IAW they can see and immediately order a huge range of promotional goods, trend-led and seasonal products, and products with high-volume sales. At the same time, buyers at the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR will have the opportunity to source the merchandise they need across a whole range of product categories, including tools, industrial supplies, fasteners and connectors, as well as hardware and fittings. Halls 6 and 9 are directly adjacent to the exhibition space occupied by the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR in Halls 1-5 and 10, so that visitors will not have far to walk at any time.

For over 50 years now the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR has been the world’s No.1 platform for the hardware industry. Some 2,800 exhibitors from 53 countries will be presenting an extensive range of products for buyers from every type of outlet. The last event in 2014 was attended by around 44,000 trade visitors from 136 countries.
