IAW – the biggest trade fair for promotional products and quality imports – celebrates a significant occasion in March 2012, when exhibitors and buyers from across Europe will be welcomed in Cologne for the 15th time.
In March 2012 Cologne will host the main trade fair for orders of trend-led promotional products and best-selling product lines. The IAW, which attracts professionals from across the trade, is even more attractive in the spring for both exhibitors and visitors. As the last event in September 2011 was a record-breaker with 20 percent more exhibitors and 10 percent more trade visitors, the next IAW will occupy a bigger display area in Hall 10.2 at the Cologne exhibition site. Boasting more exhibitors, greater product diversity and better sales, it will be bigger and better than ever. The organizers expect approx. 260 exhibitors and more than 7,500 trade visitors from 50 countries. The next IAW will focus in particular on products for the spring season such as gardening and garden products as well as outdoor equipment. Another focal point will be beauty and health care items and fan merchandise for the European Cup in Poland and the Ukraine.
The IAW in March will once again reinforce the event’s reputation for expertise and professionalism. For example, the IAW Trend Forum will boast high-calibre speakers and an excellent program, which includes inspiring talks and panel discussions. The speakers, who number among the top experts in their respective business fields, share their know-how with the visiting public, who will obtain some useful ideas for day-to-day business. A second highlight of the IAW will be the presentation of the tenth IAW Trendseller Product Award. A panel of experts will select exhibits at the event which they consider to be potential best-sellers and thus rank as the most promising products of the season.
Another interesting feature has also been planned. For the first time there will be a special introductory offer to all new exhibitors at the IAW in March 2012. For a small supplementary fee in addition to the charge for stand space, IAW first-time exhibitors will receive a stand plus a comprehensive PR package. This special offer will encourage companies from Germany and other countries to exhibit at the 15th IAW for the first time. In other words, they can get to know the benefits of participation and enjoy the full service package without considerable cost.
