People will be getting down to some serious business when the doors open on the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports in Cologne this September. The IAW always lives up to its reputation as a place where exhibitors fill their order books and sales are made on the spot.

The 22nd IAW, which takes place from 22 to 24 September 2015, is where the trade will prepare for the coming autumn/winter season. More than 300 exhibitors, including many companies showcasing their products in Cologne for the first time, will stage an array spanning a broad product range: decorative items, textiles, electronic goods, tools, toys and games and – of course – diverse health and beauty care products and Christmas merchandise. The IAW addresses the needs of every consumer group. The exhibitors at the next IAW have also thought of some exciting promotions and attractions for the approx. 9,000 trade visitors expected at their stands. The IAW is a tool that helps them realize this goal: it has developed into the leading trade fair for orders in promotional products, seasonal and trend-led merchandise, and bulk sellers in Europe.
“On the basis of 21 trade fairs it is not always easy to appear innovative and offer exhibitors and visitors something new and original”, explains trade fair organizer Ulrich Zimmermann. “But we always pull it off and manage to build on our excellent name and global reputation. In addition to the many regular exhibitors there are a large number of new names coming to the IAW from neighbouring European countries. We are especially pleased that we can expect new products from Spain, Poland, Portugal and Malta“, adds Zimmermann.
Visitors will welcome the fact that it will be easier and quicker to get around the autumn event due to the new link between Hall 10.2 and the adjacent Halls 10-11. In other words, they will be able to view a lot of products and exhibits without walking too far.
